Oviq African Market and Foods

Shipping policy

Effective August 22, 2026

1. Shipping and delivery options

  • Store pickup is available during the times shown at checkout.
  • Local delivery is offered when a customer address is within an enabled courier's service area.
  • Standard Frozen and Express Frozen parcel shipping may be offered for eligible United States addresses outside local delivery coverage.

Available methods, prices, and estimated transit times are displayed at checkout. Oviq may compare eligible providers behind the scenes and use the provider that can fulfill the selected service safely and reliably.

2. Coverage

Shipping is currently limited to eligible addresses within the United States. International shipping is not offered. A method appearing at checkout means the address and order passed the available service checks at the time of the quote; final carrier acceptance is still required.

3. Frozen and perishable orders

Food sent by parcel carrier is prepared and shipped frozen in insulated packaging with an appropriate coolant. Frozen parcels normally leave Oviq Monday through Wednesday to reduce the risk of a weekend delay. An order completed after the weekly cutoff may be held frozen until the next safe shipping day.

Track the parcel and arrange for prompt receipt. Open it immediately and refrigerate or freeze food promptly. Perishable food should arrive frozen, with ice crystals, or at 40°F or below. Do not taste or consume perishable food that arrives above 40°F; contact Oviq promptly with photographs and temperature information.

4. Timing and expedited service

Standard Frozen generally uses an eligible one- or two-business-day service. Express Frozen generally uses an eligible next-business-day service. The estimate begins when the carrier receives the parcel, not when the order is placed. Pickup preparation time, the safe shipping-day schedule, holidays, severe weather, and carrier disruptions can affect arrival. Estimates are not guarantees unless the selected carrier expressly provides one.

5. Addresses, tracking, and receipt

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and any access instructions. Changes may not be possible after fulfillment begins. Tracking information is sent when available. Someone should be available to retrieve a perishable parcel promptly; Oviq is not responsible for spoilage caused by a parcel being left unattended after a documented delivery.

6. Loss, damage, or unsafe temperature

Report a missing, leaking, warm, or damaged parcel promptly through the order-help page. Include photographs of the food, outer packaging, shipping label, and coolant, plus tracking or temperature evidence when available. Oviq will review carrier scans and the available evidence before determining whether a replacement, refund, or carrier claim is appropriate. A delivery scan does not prevent Oviq from investigating a credible report.

7. Food safety and allergens

Products may be prepared or handled in a facility that also processes common allergens, including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Review product descriptions and allergen information before ordering. Customers are responsible for safe handling and storage after receipt.

8. Contact and agreement

Questions about shipping may be sent using Oviq's contact details in the footer. By placing an order, you acknowledge the selected fulfillment method, displayed charges, safe-handling instructions, and this policy.
